If you could add new abilities for a Bayonetta game, what would you suggest? A new technique? A new game mechanic?

To keep in touch with Resident Evil, I think some weapon modifiers that can be purchased with halos should be added, like 20% more damage or adding elements. It can be bought in the Gates of Hell.
The weapons are pretty powerful as they are. Besides...how could you modify a demonic weapon after its been built? Only ones that can be modified is the guns. Adding elements would kind of ruin the background of the weapon. Like...making an electrical (instead of ice) Undine, it wouldn't make sense to fit with the elementals background (if Undine is named for what I think it is.)
I actually kind of wish we could do something with Shadows. I dunno why but I've always wanted to do something about either controlling shadows or something. I don't know how it could possibly work but still.
Maybe something with Poison. Angels take damage over time from certain attacks perhaps?
Oh and for a whip-like weapon I wouldn't mind being able to grab an enemy and be able to throw them into a group. Example being using Kulshedgra you would grab an Affinity and toss it into a group of nearby Affinity to bowl them over or stagger them.
Resident Evil lets you add modifiers. How about Witch Time Counters? If you attack an enemy before they hit you, you can unleash a counterattack move that stops time instead of just a standard dodge that activates Witch Time. It leaves more of an opportunity for longer attack combos.
It seems as if they are, looking at the new Comic-Con footage. Let's just hope the other ideas miraculously show up as well!
