The Sovereign Power describes one of the powers possessed by the former ruler of the Human World, Lord Aesir. Represented by a distinct tattoo, the power was formerly held by the good personality of Aesir, Loki, until it was stolen by Loptr in his plan to remake himself as Aesir.[1]

Description

Bayonetta 2 - Loptr steals the Left Eye from Bayonetta

Loptr using the Sovereign Power to steal the Left Eye of Darkness.

A divine power, the Sovereign Power allows a user to freely control the Eyes of the World. It capable of presumably bestowing it or taking back both Eyes of the World from it's current inheritor. This power was said by Loptr to have existed in order to protect the balance the split that created himself and Loki had caused.[2]


Trivia

  • Because of Loki possessing this ability, he is dubbed the "Sovereign One".[1]
