Friendship originally titled simply, Friend, is the 15th track of Disc 4 of the Bayonetta Original Soundtrack, and the 1st track of Disc 4 of the Bayonetta 2 Original Soundtrack. It primarily serves as a "rescue" theme throughout the series.

Bayonetta[]

Friend plays in Bayonetta only during the last chapter of the game when Jeanne decides to rescue Bayonetta, who is being used as the Left Eye for Jubileus. "The Left Eye, our treasured Left Eye, must never fall into the hands of another! It is the pride of the Umbra Witches!" she repeats for the last time, before boarding her motorcycle to climb the Ithavoll Rocket to rescue her Umbran sister.

In Other Media[]

Friendship appears as one of the background music tracks available for the Umbra Clock Tower stage in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U upon purchasing the Bayonetta DLC pack. Trivia[]

  • Friendship only ever plays in chapters where the player is riding something; Jeanne riding her motorcycle in the first game, and Bayonetta riding Diomedes in the second game.
  • This is the only theme that plays in the original Bayonetta while the player is required to play as Jeanne, although Red & Black plays when playing in the final Alfheim as Jeanne.
