Bullet Climax is a Technique that is available from the very beginning of both games, Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 used by Bayonetta, Jeanne, and Rosa. By rotating the control stick while pressing the Punch or Kick buttons, Bayonetta and other playable characters will perform a variety of spinning attacks that differ depending on the weapons being used.

Usage[]

Projectile Weapons[]

When used with a projectile weapon such as Scarborough Fair, Love Is Blue, Onyx Roses or the Bazillions. Bullet Climax allows Bayonetta to fire the guns rapidly from either her hands or feet. On the ground, the player can aim the guns in any direction around them and, will fire more bullets the more they press the buttons. In the air, using Bullet Climax on the weapons equipped to her feet will cause Bayonetta to rapidly twirl and send bullets out in all directions. The faster the better.

In the original Bayonetta, the precise direction of the bullets is controlled by the player moving the camera around Bayonetta as she fires. In Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta locks onto the enemies nearby automatically based on where the player pushes the stick. And uses the magic orbs are extra strength which makes the magic orbs to disappear or paying for the length of the Bullet Climax. Infinite Bullet Climax can be used by the Climax Brace.

Melee Weapons[]

When the button input for Bullet Climax is used with melee weapons, Bayonetta performs a powerful spin attack with the said weapon. Depending on the size of the weapon, the attack is either comprised of multiple spins with average attack power or a single spin with massive knockback that sends enemies flying.

Other Appearances[]

Super Smash Bros. 4[]

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U, Bullet Climax serves as Bayonetta's standard special attack. By tapping the button repeatedly, players are capable of shooting directly in front of or behind her continuously using by either her hands or her feet. Bayonetta's bullets constantly fire at a slight upwards angle so other characters who are fairly short, such as Pikachu or Kirby, are outside of this move's range. Players are also capable of pressing and holding to button to charge the attack strength of the move.
